I think it’s important to note that a lot of the problems with our society is the fault of the media. Granted, we must also be smart enough to recognize problems in the system and work together to find a better solution, but the media has definitely changed the way we think and treat each other. From a very young age, women are objectified and told to look and act a certain way, and men are pressured to be strong, built, emotionless zombies that expect women to be flawless.
The truth: You actually are flawless. We all have our fair share of sins and problems, but you were wonderfully made. If you’re reading this, I want you to know that you are beautiful. Every. Single. One. Of. You.
The first step to peace and equality is discovering and acting upon the source together as a society. Let’s photoshop the media into what we want it to be.
