A New Flame
              REFLAMED

For none of us lives or dies to ourselves. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or whether we die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:7-8

So God doesn’t need us, but He wants us. The irony is that we need Him, but we often don’t want Him.
It’s nice to know that, no matter what, someone will always want us to stick around.

Our prayers may be awkward. Our prayers may be mumbled. Our prayers may be professional. Our prayers may be stuttered.
But since the power of prayer is in the One who hears it and not the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.

We live here in the “Bible Belt.” There is no excuse for anyone to be going to bed hungry or cold tonight. We live in America, which is now made of 70% Christians. We think that number should be higher, but shouldn’t things be different now? Every 40 seconds, someone commits suicide. That is someone feeling unloved and unwanted. We have people beating children, beating women, cutting themselves, robbing other people, shooting up schools, killing their friends, going hungry, sleeping on the street in the cold, going to sleep crying, or not even sleeping at all. The list goes on and on and on. We don’t owe all that to 30 PERCENT of America. All of us are too blame. What. Are. We. Doing. Wrong.

We need to love. We need to stop complaining
BooHoo Atheist exist. BooHoo Obama is president. BooHoo we aren’t liked. BooHoo people aren’t changing. Get Over It. We aren’t even trying

It’s time for a movement. It’s time to be real Christians. It’s time to show love. It’s time to get our butts out of the pews, and our boots into the streets. It’s time to love. It’s time to be like Christ.

Sorry for the “rant,” but something needed to be said..

Love is not a feeling; it is a choice. And that goes for family, friendships and the like. Things like these don’t end with the ebbing of emotions. And things like these are more than what you feel. Love is a definite choice, a willingness to open yourself and be vulnerable, to stop living just for yourself and begin to think of others. Whatever happens, joyful or terrible, you still choose it. That, my friend, is real love.
